My belongings are packed in boxes, suitcases and bags and I am leaving Ascot Vale this morning. It feels strange and sad to be leaving this little house but I am excited for change and a fresh start in Elwood.
Unfortunately I haven't seen G most of this week as I've been out and about and she's been out helping a friend the last couple nights. She's been very gracious and kind to me while I've stayed in her house and come back from Perth; I would have like to have left giving her a proper goodbye but I'm sure we'll stay in touch and sip cups of tea together in the future.
