Residence

We arrived at YVR on Canada Day.  We'd brought all of B's paperwork for his permanent residency visa as we needed the 'stamp' from immigration once we arrived in the country.  Immigration had already put the sticker in his passport, so we figured, easy peasy!  Not the case...

Immigration asked for a set of documents we didn't have.  But, 'we have the sticker', we said.  They found that odd.  So, off to the immigration area of the airport, bags, mom and babies in tow.

The desk wasn't open yet so we had to sit and wait for twenty minutes while the staff gossiped amoungst themselves and the clock struck 8am on the dot. Once we were summoned up, the officer spoke to B and they sorted out the issue though one of the managers needed to print out the document we needed.

In the end it DID turn out to be simple and B was issued his residency!  Tick, tick and tick!
