D has arranged his itinerary and will be heading to Vancouver via Venice, Germany and New York City. Since I have yet to visit The Big Apple I am planning on taking a side trip and meeting him there. It will only be a short, three-day mini-holiday from my holiday, and I hate not to spend all of my time at home but since I'm in the Northern Hemisphere I might as well take advantage of it!
