The wanker at work!

I know I normally keep this blog positive but I have to vent about our new senior interior designer at work. Normally I wouldn't say bad things about people on my blog, but I hate this guy so much I don't care if he finds out!

I'll call him LH (his real initials). He started about two months ago and was hired to lead a team of interior designers who have all been there longer than he has.

Why we hate him:
  1. He's useless and makes more money than all of us
  2. He can't speak nor can he articulate any instructions to staff
  3. If he decides to speak he utters one word answers
  4. He doesn't say hi to anyone when he comes in or leaves the office
  5. He comes in to work an hour late every day without an excuse
  6. He's been 'sick' five times in the last three weeks
  7. His excuse last week for being sick (for 2 of the 3 days) was because he fell off his motorbike, landed in manure and had an 'allergic' reaction that turned his hands blue (nice one!)
  8. He's arrogant and has told staff that they're not good enough to get good jobs
  9. He can't handle alcohol - on two separate occasions he acted like an idiot while we were out for drinks on a Friday night - this includes yelling and stomping off, leaving the bar, red-faced after a conversation. Even the people behind us were in shock.
  10. He's cheap - whilst out for drinks on a Friday was the last one to buy a round and couldn't believe he had to pay for his own $7 dinner
  11. He told two staff that he planned to make 4 other staff redundant and two weeks later they were (and we liked them!)
  12. We are now really busy and don't have the staff to help
  13. He can't draft or use the software we use to document
  14. He plays on photoshop all day and doesn't produce anything useful
  15. His work looks like someone from high school did it
  16. He's made one of our female staff cry
  17. He demands designers do ridiculous things, without questioning him, like put bubble plans and emails on drawings
  18. He uses intimidation tactics in confrontational conversations
  19. He sucks up to the marketers
  20. He's harassed one of our staff by texting her and calling her at 3am on a Saturday night and got mad at HER when she told him not to
  21. He's 33, short, an ugly square head and has a high-pitched voice and a horrible, evil laugh
  22. Due to his 'being sick' he missed doing dishpig (cleaning the kitchen and providing the staff with a weekly treat) last week. Thus, he was made dishpig again this week and again, hasn't done a thing!
Is 22 reasons good enough to hate someone? I think so!

Now, why he is still employed by our company we have no idea! EVERYONE in the office is hoping he'll be fired soon but unfortunately that won't happen until he upsets the people in charge. We're hoping, at the very least, he's using some of his sick days to find a new job as it's obvious he isn't liked by the girls in the office.

I feel no pity, he dug his own grave. Leave loser, leave!!
