ONE!

Our babies turned ONE on Sunday! A milestone. We've survived an entire year with twins :)

On Monday, B and I started the journey to B's hometown, SH, to celebrate with his family.  We stopped for two nights in the city, visited my very good friend E and her family for a pre-birthday celebration, and another overnight stay in Ky.neton, then arrived in SH on Thursday afternoon.

B's family all came out to visit us for the weekend.  The house was packed full of kids and adults and (poor) Nana K fed us all. As B's sister had to head off on Sunday morning, we decided to have M & O's party on Saturday so everyone could be there.

On Saturday, I picked up some balloons and small decorations and Nana K and I made cupcakes for an afternoon party outside in the sunshine.  It was short but very sweet.  M & O enjoyed playing with their cousins for a few days and were showered with beautiful gifts.  They certainly would have enjoyed their first birthday!
