An immigration officer called B at work on Friday and any questions they had have now been answered. He granted us the visa over the phone. B was told we have until September to move back, but due to us having the twins in Melbourne that can't happen, so (once B gets another medical) we have until September 2012. Yay!
Cars: Due to the immanent arrival of two babies we've decided to upgrade our car. Unfortunately, my little Lola just won't cut it, though we plan to keep her on hand. We spent today looking at Subaru Outbacks, three of them. If one of them doesn't sell over the weekend we may have found our car. We'll be pondering and speaking to the owner again this week.
Homes: B spoke to his manager yesterday about us moving out of town and transferring offices. It looks like a transfer will be considered so we'll await their decision. Our lease runs out in November so we have a little time. If we can't move out to 'the country' we'll be looking at smaller units to rent closer to B's office. We'd love to stay put but our rent in this area is just way too much for one wage. We'll both be sad to leave our lovely little home but life goes on.
